SF1 - Filter Cap for SHT1x Humidity Sensor (RH&T)

Easy mountable solution for the protection of SHT1x humidity sensors.

SF1 filter cap protects Sensirion's humidity and temperature sensors SHT10, SHT11 and SHT15 against water, dust , soot and other contaminants. It consists of a single piece of polypropylene including a filter mebrane .

The filter cap fits the outer dimensions of the SHT1x humidity sensors and allows for compact system design. SF1 is fixed to the PCB by plugging two pins into holes in the PCB which are melted from the rear side thereafter. The filter cap is designed to keep response time low. If sealed by an epoxy ring to PCB it provides protection according to IP54. It also serves as an adaptor for mounting the humidity sensor directly into the wall of a housing. Using a sealing ring, this results in a waterproof mounting solution.
